Anne Schopf, FAIA is Design Partner at Mahlum Architects, a 78-year-old architectural firm with offices in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon. Under her leadership, Mahlum received the 2014 Firm Award from the American Institute of Architects Northwest and Pacific Region (AIA NWPR). Mahlum is respected for its thoughtful, community-oriented work serving educational, healthcare, and private clients. Anne was the 2013 recipient of the AIA NWPR Medal of Honor, recognizing excellence in design, the practice of architecture, architectural education, and service to the profession; and two of her projects at Mahlum have been recognized with AIA Committee on the Environment (COTE) Top Ten Green Projects Awards. Since 2007, Anne has been actively involved with the AIA’s Committee on Design (COD) and AIA Seattle, and she was recently appointed to the AIA National COTE Advisory Group.
